How to Verify Your Site for Google Search Console
Google Search Console (formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools) is a collection of SEO tools provided by Google to help you optimize your website. But Google will only share information about your website once it confirms that you are the owner. To do this, take a moment to verify your site with Google.
1. Sign in to Google Search Console
Go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/, sign in, or create a new account. Then, click on "Add a site", and enter the URL of your Jimdo site.
2. Get the <meta> tag
Click the Alternate Method tab and then select HTML Tag in the options. Now all you have to do is copy the meta tag from Google webmaster tools, which may look something like this:
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="asdf543563234_w234234dkljad" />
Copy the meta tag to your computer's clipboard (highlight it and press CTRL + C on a PC, CMD + C on a Mac).
(It is possible that some users may see the HTML Tag under Recommended Method. If you don’t find the HTML Tag under Alternate Method, please take a quick look
under the Recommended Method tab.)
Note: If you are verifying a domain that includes .jimdo.com, you may need to look for the <meta> tag option under the Recommended Method tab.

3. Add the <meta> tag to your site
Open the Menu and navigate to Settings > Website > Edit Head. Paste the meta tag from Google into the Head section, save everything, and you're done!
