Logging In

Jimdo sites have two different modes: View and Edit. When you log in to your site, you automatically enter Edit mode so that you can make changes.  View mode shows you what your site will look like to your visitors. You can switch between View and Edit mode at any time by using the links at the bottom of your site.

 

No need to publish anything. All Jimdo websites are live immediately after being created, and all changes are published immediately after being saved.


There are several methods to log in to your Jimdo site. Each method is described below:

 

From a Page Within Your Site

You can log in from any page within your site by following these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to a page within your site. (Example: http://yoursite.jimdo.com/)
  2. Click the Login link in the bottom right corner of the page.
  3. Enter your Password and click Login.

 

Note:

If you can't find the Login link, it may be hidden. In this case, log in from your Login Page. (Example: http://yoursite.jimdo.com/login)

From Your Login Page

You can log in from your site's Login Page by following these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to your Login Page. (Example: http://yoursite.jimdo.com/login)
  2. Enter your Password and click Login.

 

From Jimdo.com

If you prefer, you can log in to your site from Jimdo.com by following these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to http://www.jimdo.com.
  2. Click Login at the top right corner of the page.
  3. Enter the address of your Jimdo site. (Example: yoursite.jimdo.com/)
  4. Enter your Password and click Login.
